Appointments

From first call to written plan

Consultations at Abbey Row follow a deliberate sequence so you never pay for advice before we agree the question you need answered.

  1. Introductory call (15–20 minutes). We confirm whether wealth planning, retirement income, protection, or pension guidance is the right engagement — and whether we are a fit for your situation.
  2. Fact-find pack. You receive a short questionnaire and a list of useful documents: pension statements, mortgage details, insurance schedules, and a rough monthly budget.
  3. Discovery meeting. In person at Johns Cross or by video. We clarify goals, dependents, and constraints before any recommendation is drafted.
  4. Analysis & writing. We gather missing valuations where needed and prepare your written recommendations.
  5. Plan presentation. We walk through the actions in priority order and answer questions. A follow-up call is included with the flagship consultation.

Meeting locations

Face-to-face appointments are held at our Johns Cross office. Video meetings are available across the UK when travel is difficult or when both partners prefer evening slots.

Please allow quiet time and a stable connection for video sessions — pension figures are hard to discuss over a noisy commute.

Rescheduling

Give us at least two working days’ notice to move a discovery or presentation meeting without a fee. Same-day cancellations may forfeit the deposit on longer engagements — see our refund policy.

Prefer to browse fees first? Read the fee guide, then request a date.

Request a consultation date

Tell us which advice topic you need and a preferred week. We will reply with available slots and a draft fee note where paid work is appropriate.
