Refund & cancellation policy
This policy applies to paid UK financial advice consultations and related appointments with Abbey Row Wealth Planning. It does not cover products or delivery models we do not offer.
Eligibility
Refunds relate to fees paid for advice engagements such as wealth planning consultations, retirement income reviews, family protection advice, and pension consolidation guidance. Introductory calls that are offered free of charge are not refundable because no fee is charged.
Timeframe
Refund requests should be made within 14 days of the invoice payment date, or before the discovery meeting begins — whichever is earlier — unless a different window is stated in your engagement letter.
Full or partial refunds
If you cancel before we begin substantive work (fact-find review or provider valuation requests), you may receive a full refund of fees paid, less any non-refundable deposit stated in your fee note. If discovery has started but the written plan has not been delivered, a partial refund may apply reflecting time already spent. Once the written recommendations have been presented, fees for that engagement are generally non-refundable.
Non-refundable items
Non-refundable items may include stated deposits on longer engagements, fees for third-party valuation or tracing costs already incurred on your behalf, and completed follow-up calls included in a package.
Refund process
Email hello@cloudsyncapis.digital with your name, invoice reference, and reason for the request. We confirm eligibility in writing and process approved refunds to the original payment method within 14 working days of approval.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Give at least two working days’ notice to reschedule a discovery or presentation meeting without charge. Cancellations inside that window, or no-shows without notice, may forfeit the meeting fee or deposit for that session. We will offer one complimentary reschedule where illness or transport disruption is notified as soon as practicable.
Deposits and no-shows
Where a deposit secures a consultation date, it is applied to the final invoice if the meeting proceeds. No-shows without prior notice may lose the deposit. Remaining balances are not automatically charged without your agreement.
Work already started
Once we have begun reviewing your fact-find, contacting pension providers, or drafting recommendations, fees reflect work performed. We will itemise time spent when calculating any partial refund.
Exceptions
Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. If we cancel an engagement for reasons within our control and cannot offer a suitable alternative date, you may choose a full refund of fees paid for undelivered work.
